For those that may be brand new to photography, here’s a quick note about the numbers you see below each of my photos. I will just cover their significance as it relates to concert photography. Please remember these are really brief descriptions. The first number preceded by a ƒ is the aperture. The lower the number, the better it can shoot in low light.
The second number followed by mm is the focal length. The larger the number, the further away it can shoot.
The third number with a divisor is the shutter speed in seconds. The smaller the number, the sharper the image will be.
The last number is the ISO which measures sensitivity. The higher the number, the better it can shoot in low light.
